got the oil on my chain for a ride in the rain!

My first bike was a BMX, the bike chase in E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial definitely contributed to the choice of this specific model at the time. But also had the privilege of riding several times the legendary Raleigh Chopper Mk2 that belonged to my sister. Glory days are over now and my sister's orange bike lay forgotten in a storage room somewhere in the wild west of Portugal waiting for me to fix it i guess.

Everyone should know that this kids bike was primarily designed for smooth floors due to its unbalanced design, with the high handle bars and 3 gears, providing a slow and hard work. But one thing is clear to me, the most fantastic experience you could have with the Raleigh Chopper is doing tours at some rustic lanes on dirt pavement in the rain!
